This was our second time staying at the Big Bay Motel. We had the opportunity to meet the new owner and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The facility is nice, perfect for what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.

This little motel is a very good value. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. You can walk to the Hungry Hollow next door (which is also very good). The area has good access to lake Superior and you're not far from Marquette. You can also do kayaking in the area

Meghan Cram was very communicative and forthright with information and accommodating with my request to have a room at the end of the building. The place was quiet and peaceful except for one night with loud partying neighbors, but even then, she realized she needed to post quiet hours for future guests, and I loved that. The location was right next to a little grocery, gas station, and nice little diner. For me, it was conveniently located near my friend’s cabin and the Yellow Dog Falls. Not only do I highly recommend, but I plan to stay there next time I visit Big Bay.

Outstanding! Extremely clean and well appointed. My wife was very favorably impressed. Takes a lot to get a reaction from her after 40 plus years of marriage!

Property in excellent condition, manager very helpful with special arrangements, nice touches in small things ( toiletries, cable TV). Beach across the highway. Restaurant adjacent and Dollar General nearby. Otherwise splendid rural isolation.

Perfect for us! We truly appreciate the ease of reserving our suite with just a phone call; the cleanliness of the entire room, bathroom and kitchen; the location being close to local food and pub; and minutes away from Squaw Beach and Thomas Rock where we were hoping to see the Aurora Borealis. We highly recommend staying at the Big Bay Motel!
